NOW OPEN: Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor Welcomes Guests

The iconic Formentor estate, a former hideaway for the elite, has been reimagined as a sustainable and luxurious destination, blending its glamorous past with modern amenities. Welcome to the inaugural season of the Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor.

“With our legacy of reviving legendary hotels, we are pleased to add Hotel Formentor to our portfolio of historic European properties,” says Rainer Stampfer, President of Global Operations for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. “We look forward to welcoming a new generation of sun, sand, and sea lovers.”

Set on a 40-hectare (100-acre) estate that includes a working vineyard, the resort offers a unique blend of natural beauty and European sophistication. With 110 guest rooms and suites, each with a terrace facing the sea, the resort embraces sustainable practices. The interiors feature natural materials, evoking a modern yet nostalgic seaside charm.

The surrounding gardens and woodlands have been thoughtfully restored, offering paths for walking, exotic settings for events, and quiet spaces for reflection. The concierge team at Four Seasons Resort Mallorca has curated a variety of experiences, from exploring the Tramuntana mountains and coastal villages to yachting tours along the Formentor coastline.

Guests can enjoy diverse activities, including hiking, cycling, water sports, and marine biology tours. For those seeking relaxation, there’s tennis, beachside lounging, and the upcoming full-service spa set to open in 2025.

Food lovers can indulge in on-site dining options, with Mediterranean dishes at Mel, beachside snacks at Xiringuito, and inventive cocktails at Cercle. The resort also offers unique culinary experiences, like visiting local markets or enjoying a Mallorcan feast at an olive grove.

For families, the Kids For All Seasons program offers supervised activities, with a teen center opening in 2025.

To celebrate the grand opening, Four Seasons Resort Mallorca is offering special packages until October 31, 2024. The resort will reopen for its second season in March 2025, with additional amenities and experiences.

Guests can arrive in style with limousine service from the airport to Port de Pollensa, followed by a scenic boat transfer to the resort’s private pier.

For those looking to extend their Spanish holiday, Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, just an hour away by air, offers a luxurious urban retreat with award-winning dining and spa experiences.
