Evian Spa has made its Middle Eastern debut in Doha. This marks its fifth global destination, following its recent European launch in France.
Evian Spa’s Global Journey
The Evian Spa concept was first introduced in Japan in 2012. Since then, it has expanded to five locations: Tokyo, Hanoi, Seoul, Evian-Les-Bains, and now Doha. The brand initially ventured into the spa industry with a day spa in Shanghai in 2004. Even before these ventures, Evian, under its parent company Danone, had a history in wellness through its ownership of Hôtel Royal and Hôtel Ermitage, both featuring spas at the exclusive Evian Resort, as well as the original thermal baths, Les Thermes Evian.
The Inaugural Middle Eastern Evian Spa
Located in the luxurious Bentley Luxury Hotel and Suites in West Bay, the new 1,800-square-meter Evian Spa offers a comprehensive wellness experience. The facility, featuring five treatment rooms, is inspired by the natural water cycle. It focuses on enhancing wellness through water-based experiences and exclusive body and facial treatments.
Spa Features and Amenities
Evian Spa Doha boasts an array of amenities:
- Aqua space with a steam room, salt room, snow room, affusion shower, and Kneipp foot massage area.
- Plunge pool and two hydro pools with bay views.
- Sauna, aqua bar, and a retail area.
Patrick Saussay, a consultant from GPSA Consulting and the development manager for Evian Spa, articulated the vision for the new spa. He stated, “Evian Spa Doha is a spacious wellness facility designed to take guests on an indulgent and tranquil journey inspired by rejuvenation, purity, and everlasting youth. This opening is the latest step in our plan to partner with iconic global locations to allow guests to discover the story of Evian’s precious natural mineral water.”
Additional Enhancements at Bentley Luxury Hotel and Suites
In addition to the new spa, the Bentley hotel, owned by the Khalid Bin Mahmoud Group, now features a state-of-the-art fitness center and a striking rooftop pool complete with a refreshing bar.
