Lufthansa has announced the suspension of its flights to certain cities in Israel, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, and Lebanon. Affected passengers are being offered the option to rebook or cancel their tickets free of charge.
Earlier in August, Lufthansa had already announced the suspension of all flights to Israel for the foreseeable future.
Additionally, Lufthansa Group, including Swiss International Air Lines, Austrian Airlines, and Eurowings, has reportedly suspended flights to Tehran and Beirut until August 12.
The decision reflects the airline’s commitment to passenger safety and operational considerations. Passengers affected by these changes are encouraged to contact Lufthansa for further assistance regarding their travel plans.
