Vistara Becomes First Indian Carrier to Offer 20-Minute Free Wi-Fi on International Flights

Vistara has announced that it is now the first Indian airline to provide passengers on international flights with 20 minutes of free Wi-Fi access. This new service is available on the airline’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and Airbus A321neo aircraft.

“This innovation will enhance the convenience, productivity, and overall enjoyment of our customers’ travel experience,” said Deepak Rajawat, Chief Commercial Officer of Vistara.

For those needing extended internet access, the airline offers three additional plans priced between INR 372.74 and INR 2,707.04 (approximately RUB 380 to RUB 2800). Passengers will receive a one-time password via email to complete the transaction. Business class passengers and members of Vistara’s Platinum Club loyalty program will have access to 50 MB of free Wi-Fi.

The airline has also equipped its fleet with advanced in-flight entertainment systems, providing nearly 700 hours of content, including movies and TV shows. The connectivity is powered by Panasonic Avionics.

This move by Vistara marks a significant step in enhancing passenger comfort and convenience, setting a new standard for in-flight services among Indian carriers.
