The all-new Four Seasons Resort and Residences Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol is now open, offering a luxurious oasis on the coveted beachfront of the Golden Corridor. Located just 30 minutes from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) and 15 minutes from Cabo San Lucas Private Airport (CSL), the resort is designed to reflect a modern expression of the classic Mexican hacienda, evoking the warmth and charm of historic estates.
Architect Robert Glazier, along with designers Meyer Davis and EDG, has seamlessly blended traditional Mexican influences with contemporary luxury to create a vibrant, Riviera-style village. The resort features 96 guest rooms and suites, along with 61 residences, villas, and estates, all offering breathtaking views of the Sea of Cortez. Guests can enjoy a variety of amenities, including eight restaurants and bars, three swimming pools, an expansive spa, a private art gallery, a retail shop featuring local artisans, the Kids For All Seasons club, and the Baja 360° Adventure Centre.
“When we decided to create a second Four Seasons experience in Los Cabos, we wanted to continue raising the bar, creating a distinctive yet complementary experience in this beloved destination,” says Rainer Stampfer, Four Seasons President, Global Operations, Hotels and Resorts. “Every detail of this resort is designed to set the stage for not just a great vacation, but a holiday that will be remembered for a lifetime. Inspired by Pueblos Mágicos – Mexican towns known for their enchanting qualities – we are so pleased to welcome you with genuine warmth and care at the newest Four Seasons in our growing Mexican portfolio.”
The resort’s design aims to make guests feel at home from the moment they arrive. Instead of a traditional check-in desk, guests are welcomed in the cobblestone-covered La Plaza with a cool drink, seated on oversized sofas. Accommodations feature retractable, floor-to-ceiling glass doors, expansive outdoor terraces, private plunge pools, and outdoor showers, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor spaces.
The culinary offerings at the resort are guided by Executive Chef Miguel Baltazar and Food and Beverage Director Matt Myers. Guests can indulge in a variety of dining experiences, from poolside lunches to Mediterranean-style dinners. Highlights include:
- Palmerio: A Mediterranean-inspired restaurant that showcases the flavors and dishes of Provence and Liguria using locally-sourced seafood and produce.
- Bar Brisal: A mixology-forward bar inspired by casual beachside eateries along the coast of Sinaloa, Sonora, and Baja.
- Coraluz: A beach club-style Baja restaurant created in collaboration with renowned Mexican chef Richard Sandoval, with Cayao, offering Japanese-Peruvian Nikkei cuisine, set to open later this year.
- Sora Rooftop Bar: Cabo’s only oceanfront rooftop bar at a luxury resort, offering chic evening experiences under the stars.
- Mercado: A village-inspired café and marketplace coming later this year, perfect for enjoying locally roasted coffee or packing picnic lunches for exploring.
The resort also offers various epicurean experiences, including tequila tasting in the Agave Gallery and a “pasta lab” where Chef Alberto Saavedra teaches guests the art of handmade pasta. Children under five years old enjoy complimentary meals at all resort restaurants.
Richard Raab, General Manager of Four Seasons Resort and Residences Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol, adds, “In an incredible market for luxury hospitality, there is a true sense of magic imbued in this last remaining beachfront on the famous Golden Corridor. Lead by our passionate team of hospitality experts, the Four Seasons Cabo Del Sol experience is a daily celebration of this magical landscape, Mexican heritage, and modern, laid-back luxury.”
