The Rotana hotel chain, which manages and owns more than a hundred hotels in the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Turkey, has announced the signing of an agreement with the Russian construction holding “LSR Group” to open three new hotels in Sochi under a franchise agreement.

The total room capacity is 652 rooms, and the opening is planned for 2026.

The main hotel will be located in a fully restored historic building of the oldest hotel in the city, “Primorskaya,” opened in 1936.

The other two hotels, situated in new modern towers, will share common infrastructure.

Rotana has been operating in the Russian market for 16 years and has its own sales office here. In 2023, Rotana signed a partnership agreement with the Amtel Group aimed at developing the Rotana brand in Russia. On October 31, 2023, Rotana announced the opening of its first two hotels under a franchise agreement in Russia, Edge Seligerskaya and Edge Vinogradovo.
