Transport Collapse in France Due to the Strike

France has faced street protests and major unrest as transport workers and refinery workers go on strike over Emmanuel Macron’s plan to raise the pension age to 64.

Rail unions have called for permanent, open-ended strikes that could affect all national trains as well as international routes, including Eurostar.
