The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, A Belmond Train, Europe will unveil a new ‘Suites’ cabin category from June 2023 – bringing a luxurious vision of art-deco indulgence to the legend of the rails. Eight new Suites will join the two pre-existing cabin categories, adding a new expression of opulence to the train, steeped in history and cared for with the utmost respect to the craftsmanship of the 1920s and 30s.
Inspired by the dramatic landscape unfolding through the train’s picture-windows – the Suites will feature a private marble ensuite bathroom and a lounging area by day, converted to either double or twin beds, by night.
Each of our suites is inspired by a fusion of the landscape our train travels through and design from the Art Deco period.
Each will immerse guests in diverse European scenery through glorious colours, patterns and textures. Plush fabrics and furnishings channel famed Art Deco designers, such as Dufrene and Lalique.
These reimagined suites were fully restored by expert craftsmen in France, and complement the existing Grand Suites and Historic Twins that make up our sumptuous on board experience.
HOW: From £5,500 per night including a personal 24-hour cabin steward, marble en-suite bathrooms and bespoke amenities.
