Russian Railways Plans Wine Rail Cruise in 2023

Russian Railways program of the 4-day cruise “To the vineyards by the sea” is planned to be very rich.

In total, tourists will visit 6 wineries and become real sommeliers by tasting several dozen sparkling and still wines, incl. premium brands.

Wineries that will be on the list: “Fanagoria” in the village of Temryuk, the winery “Myskhako”, To the Wine Tourism Center “Abrau-Durso”, the excursion complex “Kuban-Vino”, Chateau Tamagne, CHATEAU PINOT.

In addition to tastings, during the trip, tourists will have the opportunity to swim in the Black Sea and take a photo session on the Crimean Bridge observation deck on Mount Mithridates.

At the moment, only one flight is planned for the “To the Vineyards by the Sea” tour, which starts on June 9, 2023. According to the company, this will be more of a test trip, based on the results of which a decision on the further program will be made.

In total, the train will include 1 luxury car (10 seats) and 1 Coupe car (22 seats), as well as 2 SV category cars (16 seats each) and a dining car.

The cost of the tour “To the vineyards by the sea” starts from 86,940 rubles (1220$) per person with travel in a compartment. Children’s ticket (up to 9 years old inclusive) costs 74,300 rubles (1050$).

A tour with a trip to the NE starts from 113 thousand rubles (1600$) for an adult and 79,200 rubles (1110$) for a child up to 9 years old inclusive. In the “luxury” – from 193 thousand rubles (2725$) per person, regardless of age.

These amounts include railway travel along the route Moscow – Taman – Novorossiysk – Moscow, an excursion program in stopping cities, transfers, tastings and meals according to the program.
