Binter to Connect the Canary Islands and Mauritania

Binter expands its flight schedule between the Canary Islands and Mauritania to offer two weekly connections until September 25, with the aim of actively contributing to the maintenance of connectivity and economic recovery in both territories.

In this way, as of July 17, the Canarian airline will make two connections a week with Nouakchott Airport, which will be operated on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

On Wednesdays, a plane will take off from Gran Canaria Airport at 6.15 pm to land in Nouakchott at 7:05 pm. At 8:05 p.m., it will take off from the Mauritanian airport to land in Gran Canaria at 10:55 p.m. Saturday flights will depart at 6:20 p.m. from Gran Canaria and at 8:10 p.m. from Mauritania.

Binter recommends that all passengers consult the requirements set by the governments of each country for travelers before purchasing and making the flight.

Flights in the modern Embraer E195-E2

The flights will continue to be carried out with the airline’s Embraer E195-E2, aircraft that offer passengers a high level of comfort and also have a large cargo capacity in the hold.

It is the quietest, cleanest and most efficient single aisle reactor. Its configuration of two seats on each side and with more space between rows make the passenger enjoy more personal space. In addition, among their many specifications, they are equipped with modern HEPA filters that filter 99.9% of pathogens and guarantee cabin air quality at all times.

These measures, together with the protocols and procedures put in place by the airline since the beginning of the health crisis generated by COVID-19, are what have ensured that air transport has proven to be safe.

Tickets can now be purchased through the company’s usual sales channels:  www.bintercanarias.com , the Binter app, the telephone number 928/922 32 77 00, travel agencies and airport offices.
