Aman Partners with Rosa Alpina

Continuing the Aman story in Italy, this time in the Unesco-protected Dolomites, Aman begins a unique partnership with Rosa Alpina, a family-run mountain retreat. Rosa Alpina is an all-encompassing embrace for those who love the thrill of the slopes. Skiers can find respite from an exhilarating day in the great outdoors in its heated pools and soothing wellness centre, before heading to one of its four restaurants and private cinema for a movie night. Surrounded by spectacular forest and soaring mountain views, this is a haven in the snow.

An iconic mountain retreat

Beneath the majestic peaks of Lavarella and Conturines rests the charming mountain village of San Cassiano. At its heart, Rosa Alpina provides unparalleled access to the ski destination of the Dolomites in winter and is the ideal base for exploring the region’s natural beauty and outdoor pursuits in the warmer months. For years this elegant, family-run hotel with its renowned 3 Michelin-starred restaurant, expansive spa and generous accommodation has been a home-away-from-home. But it’s not just Rosa Alpina’s exceptional facilities, breathtaking views and quiet glamour that makes it the perfect Aman Partner Hotel: It is the warmth of its discreet service and its timeless sense of peace.

An Italian winter wonderland

Just three hours north of Venice by car, Rosa Alpina lies within one of the largest ski areas in the country – the vast Dolomiti Superski and Sella Ronda networks ideal for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. At an altitude of 1,537m, San Cassiano offers access to 1,200km of slopes and 450 lifts – all with one ski pass. The pristine mountain air and awe-inspiring natural scenery make â€˜Mindful Skiing’ an unforgettable Rosa Alpina experience: Glide through untouched snow-covered valleys with no queues or crowds – silence and beauty your only companions.

3 Michelin-starred dining

The domain of legendary Chef Norbert Niederkofler and his team, St. Hubertus has earned three Michelin Stars celebrating Niederkofler’s ‘Cook the Mountain’ philosophy. Only local and seasonal ingredients are used in regional dishes that reflect the beauty and vivid character of the mountains. Three other dining venues include The Wine Bar & Grill with family style Italian cuisine and its wood-fired pizza oven, the intimate Fondue Stube, Limonaia with its terrace and magnificent views serves breakfast only and is an ideal event space, and the Lobby & Bar with its Fumoir and nightly live piano music.

Dedicated to holistic wellbeing

Relax after an active day in Rosa Alpina’s comprehensive spa, a serene haven with nine tranquil treatment rooms, an indoor heated swimming pool with forest views, a Jacuzzi, yoga studio, fully equipped gym and extensive hydrotherapy areas.
