A-ROSA River Cruises Launches Moselle Trips

Travels to Germany meet the trends and particularly the Moselle region currently enjoys large popularity. Therefore A-ROSA River Cruises starts to offer 4-night journeys on the Moselle for the first time from 4 November 2020 onwards. The short cruises lead from Cologne via Cochem, Trier-Mehring and Koblenz back to Cologne. The routing will take place – in December under the name “Advent time on the Moselle” – until 22 December 2020.

During the journey, guests can look forward to idyllic natural landscapes and some sights protected by the UNESCO World Heritage Site. From Cologne, the ship will first sail to Cochem with its famous landmark: the Reichsburg, which can already be admired from the river. Passing countless vineyards, the ship heads directly into the Moselle valley to Germany’s oldest city Trier, which has achieved UNESCO World Heritage status and international fame thanks to its numerous historic churches, castles and palaces. The route is completed with Koblenz, the city that owes its name to the confluence of “Father Rhine” and “Mother Moselle” at the famous German Corner.

“The Moselle is becoming more and more popular when it comes to the choice of the itinerary, and it always performs very well in our guest surveys. In the past we have already seen an increase in bookings for our Moselle cruises. Currently, short breaks from everyday life are also attracting particular interest. For these reasons, we are now offering new 4-night tours along the Moselle”, explains Tobias Brüggemann, Senior Manager Customer Relations.

A-ROSA River Cruises has outlined its on board health and hygiene concept.
