Following an over seven-months-long break, Lufthansa will resume flights between Katowice Airport and Frankfurt in the end of October 2020.
The first flight from Frankfurt to Katowice Airport will take place on 25 October 2020 (Sunday), and the first flight from Katowice Airport to Frankfurt – a day later, i.e. 26 October. The route was suspended in mid-March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic and suspension of flights introduced by the Polish Government.
Until the end of the winter season, i.e. 27 March 2021, the route will be handled with CRJ-900 aircraft nine times a week. From the summer schedule 2021, the airline plans to return to the pre-pandemic frequency, i.e. 21 rotations a week.
