The leading small boat adventure company, UnCruise Adventures, recently revealed that it has renamed the S.S. Legacy to be the Wilderness Legacy. The multi-deck ‘whale whisperer’ will now join its green hulled sister vessels, the Wilderness Explorer, Wilderness Discoverer and Wilderness Adventurer with the wilderness moniker. She will continue to provide active outdoor itineraries focused on laid back adventure in the Pacific Northwest and Columbia and Snake Rivers.
The newly renamed Wilderness Legacy is a beautiful vessel uniquely suited to provide an unforgettable experience to every guest looking for small boat adventuring. This sleek expedition vessel provides gracious curves and elegant interiors. With a top speed of 15 knots, it is the fastest of the UnCruise Adventures fleet and well-known for its customized adventure launch pad, the Sea Dragon.
“We are excited that the new name of the Wilderness Legacy will more accurately reflect our active itineraries. All of our departures are rooted in adventure, so it really merits a renaming,” states UnCruise Adventures CEO, Dan Blanchard. “Both new and returning guests are big fans of our custom kayak launch platform the Sea Dragon and the spacious layout onboard.”
The 192-foot, 43 cabin adventure vessel is now booking for 5 and 7-night 2021 itineraries featuring an experienced all-American crew and activity-filled adventures matching the rest of UnCruise Adventures fleet. Making this small boat a vibrant option for adventure travelers, solo explorers, and multi-generational group getaways.
