Westin to Debut in Margaret River, Western Australia

Westin Hotels and Resorts is heading west with the announcement of a new location at Margaret River, that will become the second location in Western Australia.

Scheduled to open in 2023, the Westin Margaret River Resort and Spa will feature 45 suites among a total complement of 120 rooms. All rooms will feature sweeping views, as well as the iconic Heavenly Bed and invigorating Heavenly Bath experience.

The hotel will be located on the southern headland of Gnarabup Beach and will boast views over the Indian Ocean.

Features of the Westin Margaret River Resort & Spa include three on-site dining venues that will provide a variety of culinary options, as well as a range of leisure facilities such as the brand’s signature Westin WORKOUT fitness studio, a resort-style outdoor swimming pool and the Heavenly Spa by Westin.

In addition to the health club, the Run Westin program will be in place to take guests on a scenic run along numerous trails in the Margaret River region and the unspoiled strip of golden sand.

The hotel will also boast more than 400 square meters of meeting and event space with a pre-function area and a separate entrance.

“Expanding the Westin brand into the Margaret River region is important strategically, as the city is enjoying great growth and is not showing any signs of slowing down,” said Sean Hunt, Marriott International Area Vice President, Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.

The Westin Margaret River Resort & Spa is a joint development between Saracen Properties and Security Capital Australia, in collaboration with Architects, Christou Design Group. CBRE Hotels and KWM acted as joint exclusive advisor to successfully select an operator for the agreement.
