Third Season of White Lotus to Take Place at the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui

During the highly anticipated third season of the show White Lotus, guests will once again stay at the Four Seasons hotel, as in the previous seasons set in Hawaii and Sicily. However, this time, the actors will travel to Thailand and visit several other hotels from various luxury brands.

Starting in February and lasting for at least three months, filming will take place at the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui. Rooms in this glamorous beachfront resort are blocked for the entire February and March, becoming available again in early April, with prices starting at $1,500 per night. The hotel comprises 60 villas on stilts, surrounded by tall palm trees, offering breathtaking views of the Gulf of Siam. Each villa has its pool and spacious wooden deck, while the hotel’s common areas include a beachfront infinity pool and a spa nestled in the jungle.

The storyline also involves some actors visiting temples in Phuket, where they will stay at Anantara Mai Khao Villas Phuket. Reservations at this location are blocked for April and May. The hotel features 113 pool villas inspired by traditional Thai wooden houses, each with its tropical gardens. Positioned in a lagoon between Phuket’s longest beach and the forests of Sirinat National Park, the resort is considered secluded, a rarity for the densely populated Phuket.

In Bangkok, HBO has opted for a more authentic Thai hotel over loyalty to Four Seasons, though the specific hotel has not been determined yet – negotiations are still ongoing.

The first two seasons of the series were exclusively shot at Four Seasons hotels, elevating the prestige of the brand and turning the resorts where filming took place into highly sought-after destinations with a significant increase in guests. Now, Anantara, a less globally known hotel brand, will experience a surge in cultural prestige as well.
