Theft at The Moscow Carlton Hotel

A 19-year-old tourist named Alanoud, who arrived in Moscow from Saudi Arabia fully prepared for winter, reported the mysterious disappearance of her chinchilla fur coat, two cashmere coats, and a pair of boots at The Carlton Hotel.

According to the Baza Telegram channel, Alanoud stayed at The Carlton from December 29 to January 9, leaving her belongings in the hotel while she briefly visited St. Petersburg for three days. Security personnel were supposed to keep an eye on her items, but upon her return, she discovered the absence of some valuables in her suitcase, including the chinchilla fur coat, two cashmere coats, and a pair of boots.

The total loss amounts to nearly half a million rubles. Despite attempting to resolve the issue with the hotel staff initially, Alanoud was unsuccessful, and she has now filed a police report. Her Moscow vacation might be prolonged due to the incident.
