Singapore Airlines to Offer Free Wi-Fi in All Cabins

Starting from July 1, 2023, Singapore Airlines (SIA) will provide its customers with the most extensive and unlimited free Wi-Fi access in the airline industry. This service will be extended to all travellers in all cabin classes, including Premium Economy Class and Economy Class.

This enhanced Wi-Fi offering will be available on almost the entire SIA fleet and across the majority of their global route network.

As a result, passengers in all cabin classes will have the ability to stay connected with their loved ones, work online, stay updated with the latest news, or engage with their social media feeds, even at an altitude of 36,000 feet.

To enjoy this service, customers need to provide their KrisFlyer membership details when booking their flight through the Manage Booking online option or at the check-in counter. Non-KrisFlyer members can also sign up for a free membership online or onboard their flight through the SIA digital content portal on their personal mobile devices to access the complimentary in-flight Wi-Fi.

Suites, First Class, and Business Class customers, as well as PPS Club members, will continue to have access to unlimited free in-flight Wi-Fi. Since February 2023, KrisFlyer members traveling in Premium Economy Class and Economy Class have already been enjoying complimentary three- and two-hour Wi-Fi surf plans, respectively.

Mr. Yeoh Phee Teik, Senior Vice President Customer Experience at Singapore Airlines, stated, “In today’s increasingly hyper-connected world, high-speed in-flight Wi-Fi connectivity is one of the most important requirements for our customers. Providing them with access to free unlimited Wi-Fi is another significant milestone in SIA’s ongoing efforts to deliver an exceptional end-to-end travel experience. With this enhanced offering, our customers will be empowered to stay connected, entertained, and productive, even at an altitude of 36,000 feet in the sky.”
