Hyatt Hotels has announced a franchise agreement with ALDAU Development to introduce the Hyatt Centric brand to Egypt with the opening of Hyatt Centric Cairo West.
Located in Cairo’s Pyramids Heights Business Park, this 283-key lifestyle hotel will be the second Hyatt-branded property in the area, following the debut of Hyatt Regency Cairo West in 2021. This expansion highlights Hyatt’s strategic brand growth in the Europe, Africa, and Middle East region. Positioned at the western end of Cairo, near major business centers and popular tourist attractions, Hyatt Centric Cairo West aims to offer travelers a fresh and distinctive experience in the Egyptian capital while serving as an ideal base for exploring the surrounding neighborhood.
The design of the urban hotel will take guests on an artistic journey from the moment they arrive. Drawing inspiration from local contemporary artists, the property will seamlessly blend cultural elements, incorporating decor that pays homage to Egyptian crafts, pharaonic heritage, and the country’s pop culture. Guests will also have access to landscaped gardens, a heated outdoor pool, an art wall, and inspiring indoor social spaces.
Upon its opening, Hyatt Centric Cairo West will become the second Hyatt-branded hotel in Egypt, joining Hyatt Regency Cairo West. It is also expected to become part of the global portfolio of over 50 hotels under the Hyatt Centric brand.
IHG has strengthened its partnership with one of the leading developers in Egypt, Arkan Palm for Real Estate Investment, to build two more hotels in the capital city — InterContinental West Cairo 205 scheduled for a January 2028 opening and the voco West Cairo 205 Suites, set to open by June 2026.
