Cosmos Hotel Group has commenced the implementation of a new project in Siberia – a 4-star hotel in Tobolsk. The hotel is designed to have 120 rooms, with the entire facility spanning an area of 7008 square meters. The hotel’s infrastructure will encompass a fitness zone, a spa center, and a thermal complex covering 595 square meters.
The new tourist facility will be situated at 6a Krasnoarmeyskaya Street, facing the Apothecary Garden, in Tobolsk. Alexander Biba, President of Cosmos Hotel Group, remarked, “Our project is currently in the stage of developing the architectural-functional concept. Construction is set to begin shortly. We anticipate the opening of the new hotel in Tobolsk in spring 2026. This is not our first hotel project in collaboration with Tourism Corporation.RF. Last year, we opened Cosmos Omsk Hotel. We have also planned the construction of hotels in Pskov and Yakutsk. We continue to explore Siberia together.”
The Siberian city Tobolsk is a town in Tyumen Oblast, situated at the confluence of the Tobol and the Irtysh rivers. Historically significant as the place where the Russian royal family was exiled after the revolution, nowadays it is one of the most rapidly growing tourist destinations in Russia.
