Additionally, Maui Brewing Co. is re-launching a beer called “Two Tickets to Paradise,” a tropical Tart Saison ale. This limited-time release will be on tap at the Maui Brewing Co. bar in the Beachcomber and sold in six-packs at local retailers.

“We’re excited to be here in celebration of beer and to release a very special one made in the spirit of collaboration with our friends at Crooked Stave, inspired by brewing history and Hawai’i,” said Garrett Marrero, co-founder of Maui Brewing Co..

The bright pink, effervescent “Two Tickets to Paradise” utilises Pilsner, Spelt Malt and Golden Naked Oats, as well as Huell Melon and Pacific Gem hops with sour fermentation. With lemon-citrus, floral and pine aromas, the ingredients harmonise to create a bright and sophisticated seaside refresher. It was originally brewed in 2018 as a collaboration with Crooked Stave of Denver, Colorado.

Maui Brewing Co. has been instrumental in growing the craft beer scene in Hawai‘i, with 100 percent of its production staying local on the islands. At the Waikiki Beachcomber location, Maui Brewing Co.’s bar is the largest in the state and features more than 35 craft and specialty beers on tap, including Maui Brewing Co’s. year-round beers and special releases from its ready-to-drink canned cocktail line, Kupu Spirits and Maui Hard Seltzers.

Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger”We decided to brew a Saison that blended our love for sour fermentation and the use of local ingredients,” said Maui Brewing Co. brewmaster, Kim Brisson-Lutz. “We enjoy collaborating with breweries that are innovative and independent. We are huge fans of Crooked Stave and the beer they produce.”

The Saison has an ABV (Alcohol by Volume) of 4.8 percent and 20 IBUs (International Business Units), creating what Brisson-Lutz described as having a “very vibrant acidity from the hibiscus and lime; it’s super refreshing, and crushable.”
