American Airlines to Open Flagship Check-In at Dallas Fort Worth Airport

American Airlines is expanding its premium passenger experience at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) with the introduction of a new Flagship check-in facility and the construction of its largest Admirals Club lounge.

The new amenities are part of the airline’s continued investment in its largest hub and are designed to improve the airport experience for premium and frequent travellers.

New Flagship Check-In

Scheduled to open later this year in Terminal D near the D30 security checkpoint, the new Flagship check-in will provide eligible customers with a dedicated arrival experience before their flight.

The facility will include a private check-in area, personalised assistance from American Airlines staff and direct access to security screening, allowing premium passengers to move through the airport more efficiently.

Largest Admirals Club at DFW

American Airlines also announced plans to build a new 37,000-square-foot Admirals Club in Terminal C near the Skylink station.

Once completed, it will become the largest Admirals Club in the airline’s global network, expanding lounge capacity at one of its busiest airports.

DFW currently has five Admirals Club lounges, with one located in each of Terminals A, B, C, D and E.

New Lounge Concept for Terminal F

Looking ahead to the opening of Terminal F in 2027, American Airlines plans to introduce a Provisions by Admirals Club lounge designed for travellers seeking a quicker airport experience.

The concept will focus on grab-and-go convenience, offering freshly prepared food, beverages and travel essentials for customers who want to maximise their time before departure.

American launched the first Provisions by Admirals Club location at Charlotte Douglas International Airport in 2025, with a second facility scheduled to open at New York John F. Kennedy International Airport later this year.

Investment in the Customer Experience

The latest projects reinforce American Airlines’ ongoing investment in premium services and airport infrastructure at Dallas Fort Worth, strengthening the airline’s largest hub while expanding lounge options and streamlining the travel experience for eligible customers.
