Air France has opened its first dedicated lounge at London Heathrow Airport, giving premium passengers a new space inspired by French elegance and hospitality ahead of their flights.
Located in Terminal 4, the new lounge is open daily from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and is available to Air France La Première and Business Class passengers, Flying Blue Elite Plus members, as well as eligible customers travelling with KLM and SkyTeam alliance airlines.
French-Inspired Design
Designed by Air France in collaboration with MARKS Brandimage, the new lounge spans more than 750 square metres and offers seating for nearly 150 guests.
Flooded with natural light and overlooking the airport’s runways, the interior reflects Air France’s signature style with shades of blue, bright white and subtle red accents. The lounge also showcases furniture created by renowned French designers, including Margaux Keller, Pierre Paulin, Patrick Jouin and Christophe Pillet.
French Cuisine and Champagne Bar
At the centre of the lounge is an open dining area seating around 60 guests. The menu changes throughout the day and features traditional French cuisine alongside vegetarian options, with dishes such as beef bourguignon.
A dedicated bar serves Champagne, French wines and premium spirits, with cocktails prepared by an on-site bartender.
As part of its sustainability efforts, Air France uses locally sourced and seasonal ingredients whenever possible and has installed water dispensers to reduce single-use plastic consumption.
Clarins Spa Treatments
The lounge also includes a Clarins wellness area, extending a partnership between the airline and the French skincare brand that has lasted nearly 20 years.
Guests can choose one complimentary treatment from three options: Anti Jet-Lag, L’Instant Detox or Focus Regard, each delivered by Clarins beauty therapists in a private treatment room using personalised techniques and plant-based skincare products.
Exclusive Spaces for Premium Customers
La Première passengers have access to a private section inspired by Air France’s flagship first-class suite available on selected long-haul flights from Paris Charles de Gaulle. The exclusive area offers five seats, runway views, personalised dining service and access to the Clarins “Destination Relaxation” treatment.
Flying Blue Ultimate members also benefit from a dedicated lounge area featuring four comfortable seats designed to provide additional privacy and a quieter environment while maintaining access to all lounge services.
The opening marks the first time Air France has operated its own dedicated lounge at London Heathrow, further enhancing the premium travel experience for customers departing from one of Europe’s busiest international airports.
