Stellantis has officially opened U.S. orders for the Fiat Topolino, bringing the compact electric quadricycle to American customers with a starting price of $13,995.
Although its styling is reminiscent of the iconic Fiat 500, the Topolino is classified as a quadricycle rather than a conventional passenger car. Designed primarily for short urban journeys, the electric vehicle offers a maximum range of up to 46 miles (75 km).
The manufacturer said the Topolino has a top speed of 19 mph (30 km/h) in its standard configuration. Customers will also receive a low-speed vehicle conversion kit at no additional cost, allowing the vehicle to reach up to 25 mph (40 km/h) and making it street legal on roads with speed limits of 35 mph (56 km/h) or lower.
Pricing and Availability
While the base price is set at $13,995, Stellantis confirmed that a mandatory destination charge of $990 will apply, bringing the starting customer price to $14,985.
The Fiat Topolino will be offered in limited quantities in the United States during its initial launch. Buyers can choose between a hardtop version with conventional doors or the Dolce Vita soft-top model, which replaces doors with signature rope openings for an open-air driving experience.
Built for Urban Mobility
The Topolino, whose name means “little mouse” in Italian, is manufactured in Morocco and has been designed as a practical, zero-emission solution for urban mobility.
Its compact dimensions and low-speed performance make it particularly suited to city centers, resort communities and other environments where short-distance travel is the primary use case.
The U.S. launch marks another step in Stellantis’ expansion of its electric mobility portfolio, offering consumers an alternative to traditional passenger vehicles for local transportation.
