LOT Adds 6 Weekly Flights to Bangkok for Winter Demand

LOT Polish Airlines will increase the frequency of its new Warsaw–Bangkok service from five to six weekly flights following strong demand, even before the route’s inaugural flight in October.

The Polish flag carrier announced that it will add a Tuesday service to the schedule, meaning flights between Warsaw Chopin Airport and the Thai capital will operate six times a week throughout most of the winter 2026/27 season.

Additional Flight Added Before Launch

The new nonstop route is scheduled to begin on 7 October. During the initial launch period, from 7 to 26 October, LOT will operate three flights per week.

From 26 October, when the winter schedule takes effect, the airline will increase operations to six weekly flights, with services available every day except Saturday.

The decision to expand the schedule before the route has even launched reflects strong passenger interest in direct air links between Poland and Thailand.

Growing Demand for Thailand

Bangkok has long been one of the most popular long-haul leisure destinations for travellers from Central and Eastern Europe. Until now, passengers travelling from Poland have largely relied on connecting flights through major European and Middle Eastern hubs.

The introduction of nonstop flights by LOT Polish Airlines will significantly reduce travel times while providing a convenient option for both leisure and business travellers.

Strengthening LOT’s Long-Haul Network

The Bangkok service forms part of LOT’s continued expansion of its long-haul network from Warsaw, strengthening the airline’s presence in Asia and supporting growing demand for direct international travel.

The early increase in frequencies highlights the commercial success of the new route, with bookings indicating strong demand well ahead of the inaugural flight.
