Pegasus Airlines has strengthened its UK network with the launch of a new direct route between London Gatwick and Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, offering travellers more options to reach Türkiye and destinations across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
The new service began operating on 15 June 2026 and will run daily throughout the summer season, marking the latest step in Pegasus Airlines’ continued expansion in one of its most important international markets.
New Gatwick service expands London options
The London Gatwick route complements Pegasus Airlines’ existing daily flights between Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport and London Stansted, giving passengers across London and Southeast England greater flexibility when planning trips to Türkiye.
By adding Gatwick to its network, the airline now serves six airports across the UK, reinforcing its position in the market and providing more convenient departure options for British travellers.
The new route also strengthens links between the UK and Istanbul, one of the world’s most important aviation hubs connecting Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Access to 160 destinations worldwide
Passengers flying via Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen can connect onward to Pegasus Airlines’ extensive network of 160 destinations across 56 countries.
The carrier serves 39 destinations within Türkiye, including popular holiday hotspots such as Antalya, Bodrum and Dalaman, which continue to attract strong demand from British tourists during the summer season.
Beyond Türkiye, travellers can access destinations across Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East and North Africa through the airline’s growing route network.
Daily summer schedule
The new service operates daily throughout summer 2026.
Flight PC1185 departs Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen at 11:55 local time and arrives at London Gatwick at 14:15 local time. The return flight, PC1186, leaves London Gatwick at 15:20 local time and lands in Istanbul at 21:15 local time.
The schedule is designed to provide convenient travel options in both directions while offering onward connection opportunities through Pegasus Airlines’ Istanbul hub.
Fares from £54.99
Pegasus Airlines has launched the route with one-way fares starting from £54.99, including taxes.
Tickets are available through the airline’s website, mobile application and authorised sales channels.
The new Gatwick service comes as airlines continue expanding capacity between the UK and Türkiye, reflecting strong demand for both leisure and business travel between the two countries and growing interest in onward connections through Istanbul.
