Seabourn Quest has returned to service following the most comprehensive interior refurbishment ever undertaken by Seabourn, introducing upgraded suites, redesigned public spaces, refreshed dining venues and enhanced wellness facilities.
The luxury cruise ship emerged from drydock with a renewed focus on comfort, contemporary design and sustainability while preserving the intimate atmosphere and personalized service that define the Seabourn experience.
Major Transformation Across Public Spaces
One of the most significant upgrades can be found at The Club, which has been completely reimagined with a sophisticated speakeasy-inspired design.
The venue now features a redesigned layout, upgraded bar, enhanced lighting and improved circulation, creating a more seamless environment for evening entertainment, live music and social gatherings.
Elsewhere onboard, the atrium, corridors and stairways received new carpeting inspired by the movement of water, while the main pool deck now features upgraded lighting, a new sound system and refreshed teak decking.
Seabourn Square has been redesigned with a warmer, residential-style atmosphere, while the Observation Bar now offers updated furnishings and brighter interiors that complement its panoramic ocean views.
Enhanced Wellness Facilities
The ship’s spa has undergone a substantial refresh, including a redesigned reception area, new gym equipment and upgraded salon facilities.
Updated finishes, lighting and furnishings create a more serene environment designed to enhance relaxation and wellbeing throughout the guest journey.
Dining Venues Receive Fresh New Look
Several of Seabourn Quest’s dining venues have also been upgraded.
The Colonnade now features new flooring, carpeting and seating, alongside an updated service area designed to better showcase live culinary experiences.
Meanwhile, The Restaurant has been refreshed with new carpeting and drapery, introducing a lighter and more contemporary aesthetic while maintaining its elegant atmosphere.
Refreshed Suites and Accommodations
All suite categories have been upgraded with new mattresses and premium wool carpeting.
Penthouse Suites and higher accommodation categories have also received new veranda furniture, creating more comfortable outdoor living spaces for guests to enjoy ocean views throughout their voyage.
The overall design approach introduces a more residential feel inspired by the destinations visited by Seabourn ships, blending natural textures, layered materials and refined finishes throughout the vessel.
Sustainability at the Core of the Project
The renovation also incorporated several sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing waste and extending the lifecycle of onboard materials.
More than 20,000 square metres of replaced carpeting was diverted from landfill and will be repurposed into carpet padding for future refurbishments. New suite carpets are made from biodegradable wool materials designed to support a circular lifecycle approach.
Mattresses removed during the renovation were deconstructed and recycled, while lounge furniture was donated to local Italian non-profit organisations rather than being discarded.
Mediterranean Voyages Continue Through 2026
Following the refurbishment, Seabourn Quest will continue sailing in the Mediterranean through November 2026.
The ship will operate a series of seven-day itineraries between Dubrovnik, Venice, Istanbul and Athens, visiting destinations across Croatia, Greece, Montenegro and Turkey. Guests can also combine voyages to create longer 14- or 21-day cruise experiences.
The extensive refurbishment forms part of Seabourn’s ongoing investment in its fleet and represents the largest interior enhancement programme in the company’s history, including upgrades to both guest and crew areas across the ship.
