Hilton has expanded its presence in Türkiye with the opening of its first cave hotel, bringing one of the country’s most distinctive accommodation concepts into its growing lifestyle portfolio.
Elika Cave Suites Cappadocia has officially joined Curio Collection by Hilton, becoming the brand’s first cave hotel in Türkiye and adding another high-profile property to the rapidly expanding hospitality market in Cappadocia.
Cave Hotel Opens In UNESCO-Protected Cappadocia
The new hotel is located in Ortahisar, one of Cappadocia’s best-known towns and home to the region’s famous rock formations and cave architecture.
Positioned close to Ortahisar Castle, the property sits inside the UNESCO World Heritage-listed landscape that attracts millions of visitors annually.
The hotel was developed from historic cave dwellings, with restoration work designed to preserve the original stone structures and traditional character of the site.
36 Rooms Including Cave Suites With Private Pools
Elika Cave Suites Cappadocia offers 36 rooms and suites, many built directly into the region’s volcanic rock formations.
Accommodation options include cave suites with private pools, rooms featuring traditional Turkish hammams, fireplaces and hot tubs.
Several suites also offer terraces overlooking Cappadocia’s valleys and landscapes.
Hilton Continues Expanding Lifestyle Portfolio In Türkiye
According to Hilton, lifestyle properties now account for around 20 percent of its Turkish development pipeline.
David Kelly, senior vice-president for continental Europe at Hilton, said the opening reflects strong momentum behind the company’s expansion strategy in the country.
Hilton currently has 14 lifestyle hotels either operating or under development across Türkiye.
Spa Facilities Built Inside Cave Structures
The property also includes restaurants and wellness facilities integrated directly into the cave environment.
Guests have access to spa treatment rooms, steam rooms, saunas and traditional hammams designed around the natural stone interiors.
The opening highlights Cappadocia’s growing appeal among international hotel brands as demand increases for experiential and destination-focused accommodation.
