Raffles Hotels & Resorts has officially unveiled Raffles Jeddah, a new luxury waterfront hotel located along the historic Corniche in Saudi Arabia’s second-largest city.
The opening marks the brand’s second property in Saudi Arabia and further strengthens the Kingdom’s growing luxury hospitality sector as international hotel groups expand across the region.
Luxury Hotel Opens Along Jeddah Corniche
Overlooking the Red Sea, Raffles Jeddah is positioned close to some of the city’s best-known attractions, including Fakih Aquarium, Al Shalal Theme Park, Red Sea Mall and Boulevard Jeddah.
King Abdulaziz International Airport is located approximately 25 minutes from the hotel.
The property combines contemporary luxury with traditional Hejazi architectural influences inspired by Jeddah’s maritime heritage.
Design Inspired By Historic Jeddah
The hotel incorporates traditional design elements such as mashrabiya screens and carved wooden latticework, creating patterns of light and shadow throughout the property.
Interior spaces were designed by Robert Angell, while the spa and wellness areas were created by Tristan Du Plessis.
Guests enter through a dramatic golden entrance inspired by the heritage of classic luxury travel associated with the Raffles brand.
Inside, the lobby features sculptural columns, reflective surfaces inspired by the Red Sea and decorative motifs referencing the historic Al-Balad district of Jeddah.
Contemporary artworks by Saudi and Middle Eastern artists are displayed throughout the property.
Large Guestrooms With Red Sea Views
Raffles Jeddah features 182 guestrooms, including 40 suites, all offering uninterrupted views across the Red Sea.
Starting from approximately 66 square metres, the rooms are among the largest luxury hotel accommodations currently available in the city.
The interiors use soft pastel colours inspired by the changing tones of the sea and sky, alongside subtle heritage-inspired details.
Dining Concepts Focus On Waterfront Lifestyle
The hotel introduces multiple dining venues designed to reflect Jeddah’s evolving culinary scene.
Surl’O, an all-day brasserie overlooking the waterfront, combines Eastern and Western culinary influences with dishes intended for shared dining experiences.
Atorie Lounge & Patisserie blends French pâtisserie traditions with Japanese-inspired precision, offering pastries, desserts, afternoon tea and evening mocktails.
A third signature restaurant inspired by Mediterranean coastal hospitality is expected to open at a later stage.
Spa And Event Facilities Target Luxury Market
The Raffles Spa and Wellness centre includes separate wellness areas for men and women featuring treatment rooms, Moroccan hammams, fitness facilities and swimming pools.
The hotel also includes six meeting rooms, a business centre, VIP lounge and two large ballrooms designed for corporate events and celebrations.
Raffles Jeddah joins Raffles Makkah Palace as the brand’s second property in Saudi Arabia, reflecting the country’s ongoing push to attract international luxury tourism and hospitality investment.
