AI Creates Drinks Based On Mood And Preferences
The neuro-barista allows users to describe a mood, flavour preference or situation directly within the Drinkit mobile application.
The artificial intelligence system then generates a customised drink recipe using ingredients currently available on the menu.
If customers like the proposed recipe, they can order it immediately like any other item offered by the coffee chain.
Pilot Project Operating At Three Locations
The neuro-barista is currently being tested at three Drinkit locations as part of a pilot programme.
The company said the technology is expected to be expanded across the wider network in the near future.
AI Suggests Functional And Creative Drink Combinations
The system adapts recommendations depending on the user’s situation or emotional state.
For example, after physical exercise the AI might suggest a cold protein latte with cream cheese foam, while stressed or tired users could receive recommendations such as an anti-stress mocha with blueberry and taro sauce.
Customers can additionally modify the generated recipes by adding or removing ingredients before placing an order.

According to Drinkit product manager Nikita Laptev, the neuro-barista operates using the Yandex AI Studio platform.
The system has direct access to Drinkit’s current menu and ingredient inventory.
Recipes are generated using Yandex’s generative artificial intelligence models trained specifically on the available ingredient database.
