Jet2 Expands Jersey Flights With New UK Routes For Summer 2027

Jet2 has announced a major expansion of its Jersey programme for Summer 2027, adding new UK routes, increasing capacity and extending the operating season in response to strong customer demand.

The UK tour operator and airline will introduce new flights and package holidays to Jersey from Birmingham and Bristol while also increasing services from Manchester.

New Routes Added For Summer 2027

Jet2 will launch three weekly flights between Birmingham and Jersey operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from 2 May to 10 October 2027.

From Bristol, the airline will operate twice-weekly flights on Mondays and Fridays between 14 May and 11 October 2027.

The company is also increasing Manchester frequencies to three weekly services operating from 2 May through to 31 October 2027.

The extended schedule means Jet2 will continue operating Jersey services until the end of October.

Capacity Increase Of More Than 140%

Jet2 said the expansion will result in almost 120,000 seats being available between Jersey and the UK mainland during Summer 2027.

During peak periods, the airline plans to operate up to 15 weekly flights to the island.

Overall capacity to Jersey will increase by more than 140% compared with Summer 2026.

Six UK Airports To Serve Jersey

With the latest additions, Jet2 will operate flights and holidays to Jersey from six UK airports during Summer 2027.

Existing services already operate from East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle International Airport, with Leeds Bradford and Newcastle remaining exclusive Jet2 routes.

The airline said the expansion offers customers greater flexibility for both long weekends and longer holidays in the Channel Islands.

Jersey Tourism Sector Welcomes Expansion

Jet2 CEO Steve Heapy said demand from customers and independent travel agents for Jersey holidays continues to grow, with travellers increasingly booking further ahead.

Ports of Jersey Chief Executive Matt Thomas described the additional capacity as a major boost for tourism and connectivity between Jersey and key UK markets.

Visit Jersey Chief Executive Tricia Warwick said the expansion demonstrates growing confidence in Jersey as a leisure destination and is expected to support the island’s visitor economy and local businesses.

Jet2 Continues Focus On Pricing Transparency

Jet2 also recently confirmed that it will not introduce fuel surcharges or additional price increases on already booked flights and holidays.

The company said customers booking with Jet2 will continue paying the original advertised price even if operational costs increase later.
