Jet2 Launches New Bristol To Bergerac Route For Summer 2027

Jet2 has announced a further expansion of its France network with the launch of a new route between Bristol and Bergerac for Summer 2027.

The new service comes as demand for holidays to France’s Dordogne region continues to grow, prompting the airline and tour operator to significantly increase capacity to Bergerac from the UK.

With the addition of Bristol, Jet2 will serve Bergerac from four UK airports during Summer 2027.

New Bristol-Bergerac Flights Launch In May 2027

The new route will operate weekly on Saturdays from Bristol Airport between 22 May and 25 September 2027.

Flights and package holidays are now on sale, giving travellers from southwest England direct access to one of France’s most picturesque regions.

The announcement follows the earlier launch of new Bergerac services from Birmingham and Manchester, alongside Jet2’s existing route from Leeds Bradford Airport.

Capacity To Grow Fivefold

Jet2 says it will offer approximately 27,000 seats to Bergerac during Summer 2027, representing a fivefold increase in capacity compared with Summer 2026.

The airline will operate weekly Saturday flights from Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds Bradford throughout the season.

The expanded programme reflects growing demand from both customers and travel agents for holidays in the Dordogne region.

Dordogne Remains Popular With British Holidaymakers

Bergerac serves as the main gateway to the Dordogne, a region known for its medieval villages, historic châteaux, vineyards and rural landscapes.

The area attracts visitors seeking a slower-paced French holiday experience, combining gastronomy, wine tourism, outdoor activities and cultural attractions.

Holidaymakers booking through Jet2holidays can also access Eurocamp accommodation across the region, with car hire options allowing travellers to explore independently.

Bristol Network Continues To Expand

The new Bergerac route increases the number of destinations offered by Jet2 from Bristol Airport to 37 for Summer 2027.

It follows the recent addition of Jersey as another new destination from the airport.

Jet2 says the latest expansion underlines its confidence in demand for regional French destinations, with the Dordogne continuing to appeal to travellers looking for authentic countryside escapes, excellent food and wine, and easy access from the UK.
