Emirates has restored 96% of its global network, marking a near-complete return to operations following a period of disruption.
The airline has progressively resumed services across key regions including the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, reinforcing its position as one of the world’s leading long-haul carriers.
Network Recovery And Capacity Growth
Emirates now operates to 137 destinations across 72 countries, offering more than 1,300 weekly flights.
This represents around 75% of its pre-disruption capacity, with further growth expected as the airline continues to rebuild its schedule.
Despite operating with reduced services during the disruption period, Emirates carried 4.7 million passengers, highlighting continued demand for international travel.
Focus On Passenger Experience
The airline continues to emphasise its onboard and on-ground experience as part of its recovery strategy.
Passengers can expect multi-course menus inspired by global cuisines, alongside a wide selection of beverages and the airline’s “ice” entertainment system, which offers more than 6,500 channels of content in multiple languages.
Connectivity is also being expanded, with high-speed internet powered by Starlink now available on 28 aircraft, improving the in-flight digital experience.
Flexible Travel And Stopover Options
Emirates has introduced additional flexibility for travellers, including one free date change for bookings made from early April and the option to hold fares for 24 hours.
The airline is also promoting its Dubai Connect programme, which provides complimentary hotel stays, transfers and meals for passengers with longer layovers in Dubai, turning transit time into a short stopover experience.
Enhanced Loyalty Benefits
Members of the airline’s Skywards loyalty programme will benefit from accelerated tier progression and bonus miles on flights operated by Emirates and its partner flydubai during a promotional period running through summer 2026.
Dubai’s Role As A Global Hub Reinforced
The expansion of services underlines Dubai’s continued importance as a global aviation hub, connecting passengers across continents.
With capacity increasing and services returning, Emirates is positioning itself to capture rising travel demand while maintaining a focus on flexibility, connectivity and customer experience.
