Magnifica Air, a new premium scheduled airline expected to launch in the United States in 2027, has revealed further details about its business model, network ambitions, and onboard experience as it prepares to enter the high-end travel market.
Based near Orlando, Florida, the carrier aims to position itself between private jet travel and traditional commercial first class, offering an elevated, membership-driven experience designed for affluent leisure and business travellers.
Fleet and network plans
Magnifica Air plans to operate a mixed fleet of Airbus A220 and A321 aircraft, configured in an all-premium layout. Cabin interiors will be completed by Comlux, a specialist known for outfitting VIP and high-end aviation interiors.
The airline has confirmed that its initial network will include scheduled services to major US cities such as Miami, New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Houston. Additional destinations in the Bay Area are also planned, with Napa Valley and select Caribbean destinations under consideration for seasonal operations.
In addition to scheduled services, the fleet will be available for VIP charter flights and curated experiential journeys, including partnerships with air cruise operators and bespoke travel providers.
Private Class and The Seven Club
Magnifica Air has branded its inflight product as Private Class, reflecting its focus on exclusivity and personalised service. Complementing this offering, the airline plans to launch a private membership community known as The Seven Club.
Members will receive priority booking access, fixed-rate pricing, and invitations to exclusive cultural and sporting events. Proposed experiences include access to international art fairs and major sporting fixtures such as Art Basel and The Masters, positioning the airline as both a travel provider and a lifestyle brand.
A private-aviation-style ground experience
To further differentiate itself from traditional airlines, Magnifica Air is placing significant emphasis on the ground experience. Passengers will be able to arrive at the airport as little as 30 minutes before departure, using private terminals with white-glove baggage handling and dedicated TSA-approved security screening.
On arrival, the airline promises baggage delivery within 10 to 15 minutes, followed by chauffeur-driven transfers to passengers’ final destinations, mirroring the convenience typically associated with private jet travel.
Sustainability commitments
Magnifica Air has also outlined a sustainability strategy aimed at reducing the environmental impact of its operations. The airline plans to use approximately seven million gallons of Sustainable Aviation Fuel annually and will implement an emissions offset programme.
Its lounges are planned to be solar powered, and the company has confirmed backing from CIG Companies, which operates a $150 million renewable energy fund. The carrier positions sustainability as a core component of its long-term brand and operational strategy.
A niche premium proposition
With its blend of scheduled premium services, charter flexibility, membership exclusivity, and sustainability initiatives, Magnifica Air is targeting a niche segment of travellers seeking privacy, time efficiency, and curated experiences without the full cost of private jet ownership.
If executed as planned, the airline could add a new dimension to the evolving premium travel landscape in the United States when it launches in 2027.
