Starting October 8, Aeroflot will operate direct flights from Yekaterinburg to Dubai for the first time. The service is scheduled twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays, using a Boeing 737 in a two-class configuration. Tickets are already available for purchase, the airline’s press office confirmed.
This autumn, Aeroflot is significantly expanding its route network from Yekaterinburg. At present, the carrier operates flights from the Ural capital to seven destinations: Moscow, Sochi, Antalya, Yerevan, Sanya, Istanbul, and Phuket.
From September 29, Aeroflot will add new regular services from Yekaterinburg to Krasnodar and Nha Trang (Vietnam), while also resuming flights to Bangkok. In October, new flights are scheduled to St. Petersburg, Goa, Hurghada, and Sharm El-Sheikh.
Foreign carriers are also strengthening their presence in the region. Recently, Air Arabia announced the launch of two new direct routes from Ras Al Khaimah to Yekaterinburg and Kazan.
