Turkish leisure carrier Corendon Airlines has filed a preliminary schedule to launch flights from Istanbul and Antalya to Belgrade for the upcoming winter season. According to the filed timetable, the airline intends to begin with a one-off service between Istanbul and the Serbian capital on October 8, before transitioning to a weekly Istanbul–Belgrade operation starting November 10 and continuing throughout the winter.
In addition, Corendon has outlined plans to commence weekly flights from Antalya to Belgrade beginning November 12, with both routes set to run until late March 2026. Services are expected to be operated by Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
The filing suggests a rotation in which the aircraft would fly from Istanbul to Belgrade on Mondays, remain overnight in Belgrade on Tuesdays, and then continue from Belgrade to Antalya on Wednesdays. While the schedule has been loaded into the Global Distribution System, flights have been “zeroed out,” meaning tickets are not yet available for purchase.
It is worth noting that filing a schedule is a standard aviation practice to coordinate with airports and prepare operational logistics, but it does not guarantee that services will be launched as initially proposed. If confirmed, Corendon’s entry would expand connectivity between Serbia and Turkey, tapping into both leisure and VFR (visiting friends and relatives) travel markets during the winter season.
