Corendon Airlines has announced a major expansion for summer 2026, marking its twentieth year of operation with increased capacity, more frequent flights, and enhanced schedules across its UK network. The leisure carrier says the move reflects strong demand from both travellers and travel industry partners as it continues its steady growth trajectory.
Between April and October 2026, Corendon’s UK capacity will rise by 9% compared to 2025, supported by more balanced timetables and higher weekly frequencies on key leisure routes. The expanded schedule will offer passengers greater flexibility and reliability, with daily flights to Antalya from London Stansted and multiple weekly services from Gatwick, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, and Newcastle.
Greece will be a major growth driver next summer, with Heraklion (Crete) seeing a 26% increase in flights from the UK. Across all markets – including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Poland – Corendon will boost Heraklion capacity by 20%. While Turkey remains the airline’s core market, growth there will be in the single-digit range, with the main focus on improved flight patterns and frequency upgrades rather than overall seat expansion.
In a move designed to help partners plan further ahead, Corendon has extended its booking system to 700 days in advance, allowing routes to open earlier and enabling travellers to secure seats sooner.
“We anticipate finishing 2025 with a growth increase of 6% in load factor across our UK flights and a healthy average fare increase, achieved by optimized scheduling and stronger partnerships,” said Matthew Carpenter, Corendon Airlines UK Country Manager.
“For 2026, we’re doubling down on routes that have performed well – for example, Antalya from Stansted will grow from two weekly flights to five in the shoulder seasons and daily in peak season. Our strategy is clear: strengthen our UK presence, deepen ties with travel agents, and build brand awareness across regional airports.”
