Turkish airline Corendon Airlines has announced plans to scale up its operations in the 2025 peak summer season, scheduling over 500 weekly flights across major UK and European airports. With more than two million seats available, the airline will serve top UK hubs including London Gatwick, Bristol, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, and Newcastle, along with 18 airports in Germany, four in Austria, and two in Switzerland.
In the UK, Corendon has experienced significant growth in 2024. Manchester, London Gatwick, and Birmingham emerged as the airline’s top-performing airports, with a remarkable 89% load factor across the UK in the first nine months of the year. Antalya, a premier destination on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast, has been the favorite among UK travelers.
Yıldıray Karaer, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Corendon Airlines, emphasized the airline’s success and commitment to its strategy: “Our strong numbers and positive outlook for the coming year prove that we are on the right track and confirm the success of our strategy. Building on this success, we are intensifying our sales activities and further strengthening our position in the UK.”
The airline’s ambitious summer plans come as it aims to further solidify its footprint in the UK and Europe, offering travelers a range of new and expanded options for the upcoming season.
