Air Charter Service Opens First Office in Saudi Arabia Amid Growing Private Aviation Demand

Air Charter Service (ACS), a leading global aircraft charter specialist, has officially opened its first office in Saudi Arabia, located in the capital city of Riyadh. The move marks a major expansion of ACS’s Middle Eastern operations at a time when the Kingdom’s private aviation sector is experiencing rapid growth.

At the launch event, Chief Executive Justin Bowman said Riyadh was a “natural choice” for ACS’s latest office, citing both the city’s importance as Saudi Arabia’s political, financial, and commercial hub and the government’s decision to open the private aviation sector to international charter companies.

“Riyadh is one of our strongest markets in the region, outside the UAE,” Bowman said. “Our clients value face-to-face contact, and with our team now on the ground, we’ll be able to grow our already significant business even further. Over the next few years, we will proudly support Saudi Vision 2030 by investing in local talent to expand our team.”

Supporting Saudi Arabia’s Growth Sectors
ACS Middle East CEO Elie Hanna highlighted the Kingdom’s booming film, entertainment, and sports markets, in addition to long-standing industries such as construction and government projects.

“The Kingdom offers incredible opportunities,” Hanna said. “From VIP and government travel to complex freight operations, our global expertise will directly benefit clients in Saudi Arabia. Our presence here will also make it easier for international clients to access the Kingdom, as demand for premium charter solutions continues to grow.”

A Market on the Rise
The timing of ACS’s expansion is strategic. Private jet flights in Saudi Arabia rose 24% in 2024, according to the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), which forecasts the private aviation market will reach US$2 billion by 2030.

By establishing a physical presence in Riyadh, ACS positions itself to play a key role in the sector’s rapid development while contributing to Saudi Arabia’s broader economic diversification goals under Vision 2030.
