Catering to the needs of travelers from Singapore’s iconic Changi Airport, the Lufthansa Group has today introduced Early Check-in service for all Lufthansa Group guests to Europe. Guests travelling with Lufthansa as well as Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) from Singapore will now be able to use the Jewel Early Check-In service (JECI) on their day of departure. With Jewel Early Check-In available twelve hours before the main check-in opens, this unique feature allows guests to drop off their bags and check in as early as 8:00 am.
According to Lufthansa Group Senior Director Sales – Southeast Asia and the Pacific, Brendan Shashoua:
“Having recently celebrated our 60th anniversary of flights to Singapore, we are delighted to announce that we will be offering Early Check-in service for all Lufthansa Group guests to Europe. From September 1st, 2025, our passengers will be able to use the Jewel Early Check-In service (JECI) on their day of departure, from 08:00 until 20:00, when the main check-in opens.”
Lufthansa has been an integral part of Singapore’s aviation landscape since 1965. By now offering its guests Jewel Early Check-In, Lufthansa is further prioritizing customer satisfaction in the strategically important gateway of Singapore.
