Central Japan Railway Co. and Tokyo Disney Resort have unveiled a special Disney-themed bullet train, the “Wonderful Dreams Shinkansen,” marking a magical first in the 60-year history of the Tokaido Shinkansen. The collaboration celebrates the debut of Fantasy Springs, Tokyo DisneySea’s newest themed area, which opened in June.

A Magical Journey

Adorned with vibrant designs of beloved Disney characters from films like Frozen and Tangled, the train’s exterior invites passengers into a whimsical world. Inside, the magic continues with uniquely designed seat headrest covers, enchanting decor, and a special onboard melody featuring “I See the Light” from Tangled.

Limited-Time Experience

The “Wonderful Dreams Shinkansen” will operate between Tokyo and Shin-Osaka stations on the Tokaido Shinkansen Line. This special service will run two round trips on weekends and holidays through mid-September 2025, providing travelers with a limited-time opportunity to experience this enchanting journey.
