The building, inaugurated in the 1930s, as the headquarters of an important banking institution, was subsequently converted into luxury accommodation. It now has 88 rooms, including 4 suites and 10 junior suites furnished in modern style to offer maximum comfort and the best technologies.

The 162-room new hotel in Rome, spanning two adjacent 19th-century palazzos, is located in the heart of the Eternal City on Via Liguria next to the Spanish Steps.

Designed by Meyer Davis, W Rome mixes the city’s traditional architecture and cultural heritage with a unique interpretation of Roman design. An eclectic mix of colorful leather furniture meets stone walls representative of the building’s past.

Boundaries are blurred between public and private spaces as surprises reveal themselves throughout the guest experience – including a hidden door in the bathroom leading to the intimate Parlapiano, a secret garden inspired by one of Borromini’s churches featuring traditional Italian stone complete with kissing benches, lush foliage, topiary and water fountains.
