Bad Bunny and BTS Drive Record June for Madrid Hotels

Madrid’s hotel market recorded its strongest June on record in 2026, with Bad Bunny and BTS concerts helping push average daily rates (ADR) and revenue per available room (RevPAR) to historic highs, according to preliminary data from CoStar.

The Spanish capital also benefited from major events including Madrid Pride and the Puro Latino Madrid Fest, driving consistently strong demand throughout the month.

Madrid Hotels Reach Record Performance

Compared with June 2025, Madrid hotels posted solid year-on-year growth across all key performance indicators.

Occupancy reached 82.2%, up 2.2%, while average daily rate (ADR) increased 4.8% to a record €199.97. Revenue per available room (RevPAR) rose 7.1% year over year to a record €164.32.

Bad Bunny Concerts Fuel Early June Demand

Bad Bunny performed 10 concerts at Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium between 30 May and 15 June, generating exceptional demand for hotel accommodation across the city.

Madrid’s highest hotel occupancy during the artist’s residency reached 92.7% on the night of the seventh concert on 10 June. On that evening, ADR climbed to €217.14, while RevPAR reached €201.28.

The highest room rates of the month were recorded during the fifth concert on Saturday, 6 June. Hotels achieved an ADR of €246.26 and RevPAR of €215.21, despite occupancy standing at 87.4%.

BTS and Major Events Sustain Momentum

BTS continued the strong performance later in the month with concerts on 26 and 27 June as part of the Arirang World Tour.

The first show increased hotel occupancy to 89.5%, while ADR reached €229.29 and RevPAR climbed to €205.15.

Additional demand came from Madrid Pride and the Puro Latino Madrid Fest, helping maintain occupancy above 70% on all but two days throughout June.

Strong Outlook for Madrid Tourism

The record-breaking results highlight the growing impact of major concerts and cultural events on Madrid’s hospitality sector. International music tours, festivals and citywide celebrations continue to strengthen hotel demand, allowing operators to achieve higher occupancy and premium room rates during peak periods.

According to CoStar, the combination of blockbuster entertainment events and sustained leisure travel demand helped Madrid deliver its highest June ADR and RevPAR ever recorded.
