Nobu Hospitality has announced that Nobu Hotel Madrid will officially open on September 1, 2026, bringing the luxury lifestyle brand’s signature blend of hospitality, design and world-famous dining to Spain’s capital for the first time.
The opening comes as Madrid continues to strengthen its reputation as one of Europe’s most dynamic destinations for culture, gastronomy and luxury travel, with the city attracting growing international attention ahead of major global events, including the arrival of Formula 1.
Nobu Expands Its Presence in Spain
Nobu Hotel Madrid will become the brand’s fifth property in Spain and its first hotel in the country’s capital.
Located on Calle Alcalá between Plaza de Cibeles and Puerta del Sol, the property places guests in the heart of Las Cortes, one of Madrid’s most historic and culturally rich neighborhoods.
The district is known for its literary heritage, elegant architecture and easy access to many of the city’s leading museums, restaurants and shopping areas.
A New Dining Destination for Madrid
At the center of the project is a three-level Nobu restaurant, bar and lounge, marking the debut of the brand’s acclaimed dining concept in Madrid.
The venue will also feature a rooftop terrace overlooking the city skyline, creating a new social hub designed to attract both international visitors and local residents.
The restaurant and public spaces have been designed by architecture and interior design studio GRONDA, incorporating subtle Japanese influences through carefully selected materials, lighting and architectural details.
The design concept emphasizes harmony, simplicity and a strong connection between interior and exterior spaces.
Contemporary Rooms With Skyline Views
The hotel will offer 50 guest rooms and suites designed by Studio Caramba, creating a contemporary urban retreat in the center of Madrid.
Interiors feature warm wood finishes, organic fabrics, deep green accents and layered lighting designed to create a calming atmosphere.
Floor-to-ceiling windows provide panoramic views across the city, while the 105-square-meter Nobu Suite occupies a prime position on the top floor and includes a private terrace.
Luxury Amenities and Wellness Facilities
Guests will have access to a dedicated wellness area, a Technogym-equipped fitness center and exclusive in-room dining from the Nobu restaurant.
Additional amenities include Nobu Signature Beds, BYREDO bathroom products and priority access to the restaurant.
Secure parking will also be available upon request.
Opening Offer for Early Reservations
To celebrate the launch, Nobu Hotel Madrid is offering guests a €100 food and beverage credit for reservations made before September 30, 2026, for stays completed by December 31.
With its combination of luxury accommodation, internationally renowned dining and a prime location in the heart of Madrid, Nobu Hotel Madrid is expected to become one of the city’s most anticipated hospitality openings of 2026.
