Airline Once Again Changes Its Plans For Poland
Air Arabia has once again revised its plans for the Polish market, delaying the return of flights from Sharjah to both Krakow and Warsaw. The airline has also removed Modlin entirely from its summer schedule.
The decision comes as direct passenger traffic between Central Europe and the United Arab Emirates continues to weaken significantly. In recent months, the Emirati low-cost carrier has repeatedly reduced its network and postponed the resumption of flights to Poland.
Warsaw And Krakow Flights Delayed Until June
According to the airline’s reservation system, flights from Sharjah to Krakow and Warsaw are now scheduled to resume on June 14. However, Air Arabia will not immediately return to daily operations.
During the first weeks, the carrier plans to operate only four flights per week on each route. Under the current timetable, daily flights to Warsaw Chopin Airport are expected to return at the beginning of July, while Krakow Balice should regain full frequency later in July.
Modlin Removed From Summer Operations
The biggest setback affects Modlin Airport, which will not see the return of Air Arabia during the summer season. The route between Sharjah and Nowy Dwor Mazowiecki has been removed entirely from the airline’s summer schedule.
According to the latest operational plans, flights to Modlin are expected to resume on October 25 – provided the schedule is not revised again. The carrier has already changed its Poland restart dates several times over recent months.
Weak Demand Continues To Impact Airlines
Air Arabia’s latest adjustments reflect broader challenges across the aviation market. Airlines operating between Europe and Gulf destinations are facing weaker demand for direct travel, forcing carriers to reduce frequencies and take a more cautious approach to route planning.
For travelers, the changes mean fewer nonstop options between Poland and the United Arab Emirates during the busy summer season, particularly for passengers who rely on Modlin Airport.
