Hyatt Hotels Corporation has unveiled the completion of a major renovation at Hyatt Zilara Cancun, introducing redesigned suites, upgraded public spaces, new dining concepts and expanded wellness experiences at the adults-only all-inclusive resort in Cancun’s Hotel Zone.
The transformation reinforces Hyatt Inclusive Collection’s continued investment in the Cancun market while modernising one of the destination’s best-known luxury all-inclusive resorts.
Renovation Inspired By Yucatan Peninsula Landscape
Located between Nichupte Lagoon and the Caribbean Sea, Hyatt Zilara Cancun’s redesign draws inspiration from the natural environment of the Yucatan Peninsula, including mangroves, coral reefs and local flora.
According to the resort, the updated design blends contemporary luxury with regional influences to create a stronger sense of place throughout the property.
General manager Eduardo Rojas described the renovation as a significant enhancement of the guest experience.
“These new enhancements blend modern luxury with local character, offering guests and members a rich sense of place and connection in a destination they know and love,” Rojas said.
All Suites Redesigned With Natural Materials
All 310 suites at Hyatt Zilara Cancun have been redesigned using natural textures, warm earth tones and locally inspired decorative elements.
The resort said the new accommodations were created around the concept of balance between land and sea, with spacious layouts overlooking the Caribbean.
Handcrafted details and artwork inspired by the region are intended to create a more calming and restorative environment for guests.
Pool Areas And Spa Receive Major Upgrades
Public spaces throughout the resort have also undergone extensive refurbishment, including infrastructure modernisation and redesigned beach and pool areas.
New shaded spaces, upgraded loungers and more private beach zones have been added to improve comfort and relaxation.
The renovated Zen Spa now offers expanded wellness experiences focused on holistic treatments and nature-inspired therapies.
New features include hydrotherapy experiences, wellness rituals and treatments using naturally sourced ingredients.
New Restaurants And Speakeasy Added To Resort
Hyatt Zilara Cancun has also redesigned all 12 dining venues across the property.
Among the new additions is Bokeh, a reservation-only speakeasy inspired by 1920s art deco aesthetics. The intimate venue accommodates 23 guests and offers curated cocktails, wine selections and live music during a 90-minute experience.
The resort has also launched Casa Adelita, an exclusive dining concept with seating for only ten guests focused on traditional Yucatecan cuisine and interactive culinary storytelling.
A new Italian waterfront restaurant, Olio D’Olivia, has also been added, featuring handcrafted pasta, risottos and northern Italian-inspired dishes served overlooking the Caribbean Sea.
Hyatt Continues Expansion Across Cancun Region
The renovation forms part of Hyatt’s broader expansion strategy across Cancun and the Mexican Caribbean.
Hyatt recently opened Secrets Mirabel Cancun Resort & Spa and Hyatt Place Cancun Airport, while also renovating Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort.
The company is additionally planning the opening of Park Hyatt Riviera Maya in 2026 as it continues growing its luxury and all-inclusive presence in the region.
