The Vineta Hotel Opens in Palm Beach as Oetker Hotels’ First US Property

A new chapter in luxury hospitality has begun in Florida as The Vineta Hotel officially reopens following a comprehensive renovation – and joins the prestigious portfolio of Oetker Hotels.

The reopening marks a milestone for the brand, representing its first “masterpiece hotel” in the United States, and bringing its signature European approach to service and design to one of America’s most exclusive destinations.

A historic landmark reimagined

Located in the heart of Palm Beach, the hotel retains its Mediterranean Revival façade, a defining architectural style of the area. Inside, the transformation of its public spaces and 41 rooms and suites has been led by renowned designer Tino Zervudachi, working alongside architects Spina O’Rourke & Partners.

The design blends European elegance with Palm Beach brightness, featuring soft blue-and-white palettes, natural textures and refined detailing. Subtle decorative elements – from palm motifs to Venetian-inspired terrazzo floors and plasterwork – create a setting that feels both timeless and contemporary.

A Mediterranean culinary focus

Dining plays a central role in the hotel’s identity. Its signature restaurant, Coco’s, offers a Mediterranean-inspired menu with influences from the South of France.

The concept draws on the culinary heritage of Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, with collaboration from its executive chef Sébastien Broda and pastry chef Tarek Ahamada.

Guests can expect dishes such as:

Mediterranean seafood selections and crudo
Signature sea bass and Steak Diane
Lobster, premium meats and handmade pastas
Daytime classics including pizzas and refined café-style dishes

The restaurant extends into a lush courtyard framed by jasmine and historic iron gates, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor dining experience.

Design-led social spaces

Beyond the restaurant, the hotel introduces a series of characterful social spaces.

The Bar features bold materials and artisanal fabrics, while Pan’s Garden offers a more intimate, botanical-inspired setting focused on cocktails and Mediterranean small plates.

These spaces reflect Oetker Hotels’ philosophy of combining craftsmanship, atmosphere and storytelling across every touchpoint.

A strategic expansion into the US

For Oetker Hotels, the opening signals a significant geographic expansion. The brand, known for its collection of ultra-luxury properties across Europe and beyond, is now bringing its distinctive hospitality ethos to Palm Beach – a destination already popular with its international clientele.
