Reuniting once again with owner-partners, the Reuben Brothers, following the successful opening of Hotel La Palma in Capri this summer, Oetker Collection is extending its renowned European hospitality to the U.S. with the upcoming debut of The Vineta Hotel in Palm Beach next autumn.
Immersed in the elegance of a bygone era, The Vineta Hotel stands as a testament to history and opulence, where the walls whisper of glamorous tête-à -têtes from the past. This sparkling new hotel takes root in the heart of Palm Beach, just two blocks off Worth Avenue—a landmark destination celebrated for its designer boutiques, art galleries, and sought-after restaurants—and mere minutes away from the beach.
In a nod to the hotel’s historical legacy, Oetker Collection is resurrecting the Vineta name that it held for over 50 years, marking a bold new chapter in the building’s nearly 100-year history. Adorned with a distinctive, chic pale-pink façade, it exemplifies the quintessential Mediterranean Revival architecture for which Palm Beach is renowned. The landmark building will undergo a comprehensive renovation, led by Paris-based interior designer Tino Zervudachi, restoring it to its original splendor.
The Vineta Hotel’s dining and social spaces will offer an eclectic mix across four distinct environments. The former Leopard Lounge, once a popular Palm Beach night spot for celebrities and locals alike, will undergo a complete transformation. Elegant and discreet yet fun and vibrant, this restaurant will emerge as Palm Beach’s new preferred gathering place for laid-back, atmospheric lunches and lively dinners. Simultaneously, the emblematic courtyard, set against a lush backdrop of flowering vines and palms, will evolve into the ultimate al fresco dining destination. A highly exclusive interpretation of the ‘American Bar’ concept is in the works, featuring only a handful of seats, along with a brand-new Mediterranean-inspired, indoor/outdoor poolside restaurant.
