Russia’s first long-distance Far Eastern cruise line connecting three regions will launch in May 2026, according to Primorsky Krai’s tourism minister Natalia Naboychenko.
Speaking at the international forum “Primorye’s Export Potential – 2025,” Naboychenko said the new route will depart from Vladivostok, call at Korsakov on Sakhalin, offer landings on the Kuril Islands, and conclude in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
“This cruise will allow travellers to visit three Far Eastern regions in one journey and see Russia’s Pacific frontier from the sea,” she noted. Authorities expect the itinerary to appeal strongly to tourists from China.
Primorsky Krai’s strategic location already supports active two-way tourism flows. Vladivostok International Airport currently handles around 50 flights per week from China, and the minister emphasized that foreign visitors can expect a safe stay in the region. Dedicated tourist police, trained volunteers, and guides fluent in Chinese are available to support arrivals.
The cruise is planned as a 10-day voyage operating from May to October each year. All departures will originate in Vladivostok.
