Indonesia’s rapidly growing carrier TransNusa has achieved a major operational milestone, ending the third quarter of 2025 with an impressive expansion on its Perth–Bali route, now operating 17 scheduled flights weekly — a record achievement for the three-year-old airline.
The airline launched its Perth–Bali service on March 20, 2025, with just three weekly flights, before gradually ramping up operations through April and July. By the end of July, TransNusa was already flying 14 times per week, and with the latest expansion, it now offers 17 weekly flights, solidifying its position as one of the fastest-growing airlines serving the popular corridor between Western Australia and Indonesia.
A Legacy Moment For TransNusa
Group Chief Executive Officer Datuk Bernard Francis, a seasoned aviation turnaround specialist, described the achievement as a defining moment for the airline.
“This is a legacy moment for TransNusa as we have grown the Perth–Bali route to 17 scheduled flights weekly in less than eight months, showcasing our strength, confidence and knowledge,” he said.
Francis emphasized that the expansion aligns with TransNusa’s broader international growth strategy, adding:
“By increasing the flight frequency for the Perth–Bali route, we now offer passengers the most connectivity options between Western Australia and Indonesia, China, and Singapore.”
Supporting Regional Connectivity
The new schedule will see three additional flights per week, operating on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, beginning December 3, 2025.
Flight 8B 084 (DPS–PER) departs Bali at 00:20 a.m. and arrives in Perth at 04:05 a.m.
Flight 8B 085 (PER–DPS) departs Perth at 04:55 a.m. and arrives in Bali at 08:45 a.m.
TransNusa’s daily flights (8B 080, 8B 081, 8B 082, and 8B 083) will continue, providing consistent morning and afternoon services both ways. Tickets start from AUD149, IDR 1,599,000, CNY565, or USD84, available at transnusa.co.id or through major online travel agencies.
Francis also highlighted that passengers flying from Perth can enjoy short connections of under two hours to destinations such as Guangzhou, China, and Changi, Singapore, via Bali.
Premium Comfort At Competitive Fares
All Perth–Bali flights will use Airbus A320 aircraft, featuring 174 all-economy seats with 30-inch legroom, for a comfortable 3-hour and 40-minute journey.
TransNusa offers flexible product bundles — SEAT, SEAT-PLUS, and FLEXI-PRO — providing passengers with different levels of service. The FLEXI-PRO package includes 30 kg of free baggage, complimentary meals and drinks, priority check-in and boarding, and unrestricted flight changes and refunds.
“We are committed to providing affordable and competitive fares while maintaining premium service quality for our customers,” Francis concluded.
A Rapidly Rising Player
TransNusa’s expansion comes as the airline strengthens its position as a Premium Service Carrier, offering full-service experiences at accessible fares. The rapid increase in flight frequency highlights strong market demand and positions TransNusa as a key competitor on one of Asia-Pacific’s busiest leisure routes.
